And in 2025… that DNA became stronger than ever.

A People-First Culture — Now Stronger Than Ever

This year we took a major step in the wellbeing of our team: We introduced a mental coach for the whole team (freelancers and employers).

Not as a fancy benefit, but as a real commitment to mental health, human connection, and personal growth. The impact has been beautiful to see — more energy, more confidence, more smiles.

Our new Lisbon office which we will move to in March 2026 will became a real home for our people:

• More work and personal space
• Better facilities for training, meetings and a professional catering
• A place where ideas flow and people feel welcome
• Great rooftop to relax but also enjoy some music, socialize and party

We wanted a workplace where people can grow, learn, and just… be happy.

Team Offsites With Purpose

Our offsites this year were amazing — not only for the fun and the bonding, but also because we kept an eye on the social challenges within local Portuguese communities. Giving back is part of who we are, and we want every event to reflect that.

2025: The Year AI Became Part of Luza’s DNA

This year we fully embraced the power of AI — not as a buzzword, but as a real accelerator of our business.

We implemented:

• AI Sales Agents helping me to find new prospects
• AI Recruitment infused to smooth our search for talent
• AI Agents supporting the onboarding of our new hires

And continuous AI adoption across the team. Our goal is simple: Infuse AI where it brings meaningful advantage. To make our people better. To make our customers faster. To make our processes smoother.

And we’re just getting started.

Three Years of Luza… and Our First Profit!

This one hits deep as this will bring business continuity to our people. After three years of building, learning, refining, and pushing forward, we closed our first profitable year.

I am incredibly proud — not just for the financial milestone, but because it proves that our culture, our commitment, and our people‑first values work.

A Personal Dream: Rebuilding Our Family Wine Farm

On a personal note — 2025 was also the year my wife and I took a leap into a dream close to our hearts. We started renovating our 180‑year‑old family wine farm. A place filled with family memories, stories, and soul.

Our dream?

To restore it with love… and eventually start producing our own wine.

A new chapter, something beautiful that connects family heritage with our future.

And yes — if all goes well — I’ll bring a bottle to the next business meeting 😉
