How did Luza come into your life and why did you choose us to develop your career?

Luza came into my life when one of their recruiters reached out to me. What initially caught my attention was their emphasis on remote work opportunities and international projects.

What do you most value in the company and how do you expect to contribute to joint growth? What qualities stand out in you?

I expect to contribute to joint growth through my strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and dedication. My ability to quickly grasp new concepts and my willingness to contribute ideas and solutions can help drive growth by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and creativity within the team.

What is your opinion about remote work and why do you think it is a good option?

Remote work improves my work-life balance by enabling me to tailor my work schedule around personal activities, allowing me to strike a balance between my professional and personal life. This flexibility not only enhances my time management but also saves me the time and money I used to spend on daily commuting. As a result, I can allocate this extra time to work, relaxation, exercise, or pursuing personal interests. Remote work also offers the opportunity to collaborate with companies and clients on a global scale. This opens doors to a broader spectrum of job opportunities.

What are your main functions and skills?

As a Power Apps Developer, my main functions revolve around creating data-driven applications without extensive coding and user-friendly solutions for automating business processes. Additionally, I leverage Power Automate to streamline workflows and automate tasks, enhancing productivity and reducing manual efforts.

What project are you involved in and what do you do?

I'm currently involved in a project with the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, where my role revolves around developing a Power Apps application. This application is designed to streamline the process of creating and maintaining projects within the organization. It involves creating an intuitive and user-friendly interface that allows for efficient project management, from initial setup to ongoing updates and maintenance.

How did the onboarding process go?

The onboarding process went well. From the moment I joined the company, I felt welcomed by the entire team. It was a positive experience, and I'm excited to be part of Luza.

Where do you live and what do you like to do in your free time? Is there any curiosity about you?

I live on the small island of Madeira, where nature's beauty surrounds me. In my spare time, my heart races for cars, motorsports, and sim racing. I'm drawn to the speed of racing, the mechanics of automobiles, and the thrill of driving on iconic tracks. It's a way for me to immerse myself in the world of motorsports and constantly explore the latest automotive innovations.

What do you expect from the future?

In the future, I have a strong expectation of growing as a Power Apps Developer. As technology continues to evolve and organizations increasingly rely on digital solutions, there's a growing demand for skilled professionals in app development and automation. I anticipate working on impactful projects, collaborating with diverse teams, and contributing to innovative solutions. I also look forward to staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in app development.
