Waiting for the Sun

...

Being in Portugal this week reminded me again why I love being close to our Luza team. The people, the culture, the energy, and normally the sunshine. Except this time, the sun was hiding.

Recent destructive storms have had a huge impact on local communities. One of our team members lives in one of the hardest hit areas. Her family, friends, neighbours and many citizens are still trying to recover. It is painful to see and it brings us back to a question we always ask at Luza: How can we help?

Together with “Just a Change” we are preparing ways for the Luza team to support those affected. Even small actions can bring a little sunshine back into someone’s life.

Last morning, my wife said she is “waiting for the sun to return” so she can start some maintenance around the house. That simple remark made something click for me.

In business, you cannot wait for the sun. You need to create it.

Many companies wait for better sales conditions or for customers to arrive. But in sales that is not how it works. Especially not for Luza, where trust, relationships and proactive engagement define our success.

Existing customers deserve new energy and attention. And new customers will not appear just because we are good at what we do. We need to show it, communicate it and bring our sunny message to the market.

Sales is not easy, but it is rewarding

Sales requires time, consistency and resilience. Prospects often move at their own speed. They have their own storms to manage. But nothing compares to the moment a new customer feels the Luza solar energy for the first time and sees how our people, culture and quality help their business grow in a flexible, cost efficient and human way.

Standing out in the nearshore market

Portugal has hundreds of nearshore companies, but not companies like Luza.

We are boutique, not massive.
Real attention. No ticketing systems.

We are people first.
A happy team creates happy customers. This is our culture.

We focus on Microsoft excellence.
Power Platform, Azure, Dynamics, AI, Governance, Copilot adoption. This is our world.

We are flexible and transparent.
No hidden layers. No slow decision making. Just solutions.

This is why customers stay with us. And why new customers choose us.

No waiting mode. Action mode.

While the sun is hiding, I am not.

This week is not only about being close to the team. It is also about boosting our commercial engine.

In the coming weeks we will be:

  • meeting customers and partners
  • planning new sales activities
  • strengthening our marketing and social media
  • reaching out to new prospects
  • building visibility in the Microsoft ecosystem
  • showing how Luza continues to grow and innovate

The worst thing a sales person can do is wait.

The best thing is to create movement.

At Luza we create our own sun

Whether we are supporting local communities after storms or helping customers transform with Microsoft technology, our mindset stays the same.

We do not wait for change.
We create it.

And when the sun finally breaks through again, take a moment to enjoy it. Enjoy the warmth, the light, the energy it brings. And if that sunlight also gives you a moment to think about how Luza could support you with people, skills or Microsoft expertise, we are here. Ready to help you grow with the same positive energy we bring to our team and to our customers.

As long as we stay active, connected and positive, the sun will always return. In the sky, to all affected communities and in business.
