Today we invite you to meet Filipe Lopes, who recently joined Luza as a DevOps Engineer. 👋
Luza actually found me on LinkedIn 🙂 From the very first interviews, I really liked the Luza team and instantly felt a great connection with the client I’m currently working with. It all felt very natural and like the right fit from the beginning.
What I value the most is transparency, honesty, and the real effort Luza puts into onboarding and supporting people. Luza delivered all of that and even more! I believe my sense of responsibility, commitment, and willingness to always give my best are the qualities that stand out the most and allow me to contribute to our shared growth.
I truly believe we should learn from the pandemic times, when we were “forced” into remote work. Today, I honestly can’t imagine the IT world without it. Remote work encourages better organization and management—both from companies and from workers—and increases accountability. Personally, I feel I’m at least three times more productive, with a much better quality of life… not to mention the money saved on commuting and meals.
I work as a DevOps engineer, mainly focused on Cloud technologies, Terraform, and GitHub.
I’m involved in the KOVL project, an educational institution in Belgium. My day-to-day work consists of managing and maintaining the infrastructure that supports their applications on AWS.
I live in Torres Vedras. Fun fact: I don’t like Carnival or masks—I prefer honesty and authenticity! 🙂 In my free time, I enjoy offshore sport fishing, canoeing, snorkeling, reading, going to the cinema, and traveling (as long as it doesn’t involve airplanes 😄), especially trips connected to nature.
I simply hope to always be able to give my best—professionally and personally.
Absolutely. Because of the fantastic environment and the genuine way Luza is always there to help and support each person.
